Our Nurseries
Here at Windowflowers we grow over one million plants each year under more than one hectare of greenhouses. We continuously crop, producing flowering plants nearly all year round which we will use in our own displays.
Starting with forced daffodils in January and February followed by Primulas and Senetti in March and April with several crops of Summer bedding starting in May and lasting until August. In September we take a crop of Cyclamen and Solanum with the first crop of Winter flowering pansies. These will continue until April the following year.
Other plants are grown on during the year including 30,000 ivies, cordyline and other evergreen shrubs.
We endeavour to maximise the use of biological controls such as nematodes and other parasites to keep unwanted pests and diseases away. Much of this is preventative to keep hygiene a top priority.

Fresh flowers every Monday morning which may include a mid week renovation visit.
